The Last of an Era PGP Disktop Security v.7.0.3 is the last release from Network Associates Inc (NAI) before Philip Zimmermann - the creator of Pretty Good Privacy - left the company 19th February 2001. In addition to the ability to encrypt/decrypt email messages, the Disktop version allows for the creation of a permanent encrypted disk partition. If you loose your notebook computer, the insurance company may give you another one. And you can - of course - restore your data from backups. - But how do you like the thought of a stranger reading all your private documents and mails!?
